CHRISTMAS FUN FOR CHRIS O'DOWD

Chris O'Dowd is one happy man and definitely an actor to reckon with. But now he is as optimistic and bright of the upcoming New Year as ever. He is looking forward to 2011 after a brilliant 2010. He ended up with great roles in leading blockbuster movies as well as Tele Vision dramas.

The IT Crowd star is as much also looking at the Sky1 Little Crackers series. Chris O'Dowd who is from Ireland had his claim to fame with his portrayal of Roy in the Channel 4 sitcom. Dowd is among the stars that will be in the Sky 1 Series which is about autobiographical festive tales.

In the mean while he is also have a starring role in Gulliver’s Travels alongside comedy star Jack Black. The film which releases on the 26th of December, that is the Boxing Day, is bound to be a block buster hit with the fans world wide. Dowd is also playing a role in the upcoming Judd Apatow's Bridesmaids. This apart, another role beckons in the form of the BBC drama ‘The Crimson Petal And The White’. For once life seems all good for Chris who currently lives in South East London with his girlfriend. His lady love is also a famous TV presenter, Dawn Porter.

While as to the other things he is looking forward to be concerned, they include “Come Fly With Me” an upcoming comedy. He regularly watches the Sky News reviews of the year that he missed out on. While watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with his nephew is a tradition of sorts which is rather mandatory. As for Christmas presents he wishes for this year, he desired for Santa to fix up his house which requires a lot of it.

It's A Wonderful Life, Die Hard 2, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are among his picks for the winter day of celebrations.
